Description: Supportive and safe small group to learn and practice the Work of Byron Katie, a powerful tool to become aware of and question the thoughts, beliefs and assumptions that cause difficult emotions (anger, fear, depression) and keep us stuck in old patterns of behaviour. Immerse yourself in inquiry with this simple, yet effective practice and discover the freedom, peace and happiness that comes from undoing those thoughts through ‘The Work’ and allow your mind to return to its true, peaceful, creative nature ).
‘My children should do what I say.’
‘My partner doesn’t appreciate me.’
‘I need more money.’...
‘There isn’t enough time.’
‘My mother doesn’t understand me.’
Do you experience stressful thoughts around your children, spouse, mother, father, job, money, health, or life in general?
Does life seem sometimes so overwhelming that you feel there's too much to do and you'll never get everything done? Do you feel you're running on empty as a result?
Or perhaps you feel so depressed at times that doing the simplest of tasks seem to require the greatest of efforts.
The Work of Byron Katie allows you to identify and question the stressful thoughts that cause pain, anxiety, anger, frustration, overwhelm, confusion and depression in our lives.
Immerse yourself in the meditative practice of Inquiry with this simple tool, and discover the freedom, peace & creativity that comes from finding the truth that lies beyond the stressful beliefs and assumptions about life, others and ourselves.
Experience the insights and compassion that arise through this mindfulness practice, and find the happiness of undoing those thoughts through The Work, when your mind returns to its true, awakened, peaceful, creative nature.
The Work is simply four questions and a turnaround, which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. It is so simple that anyone with an open mind can do it. This process is radical and life-changing. Come and experience the power of The Work.
